    AI Research Scientist

    Remote

    Own research-to-production work on modern AI systems — retrieval, LLMs, agents, and applied research that ships.

    Key responsibilities

    • Design and run research experiments; turn results into practical systems.
    • Build novel retrieval/LLM/agent approaches when off-the-shelf solutions fall short.
    • Develop evaluation protocols and interpret results with rigor.
    • Work closely with engineers to deploy research outputs into production.
    • Document findings and share learnings with the team.

    Ideal candidate

    • 5+ years experience in AI/ML research or applied research with production impact.
    • Strong publication-quality rigor: clear hypotheses, ablations, and evaluation.
    • Strong Python skills and familiarity with deep learning frameworks.
    • Experience with LLMs, retrieval, and/or agent systems.
    • Ability to move quickly from research prototype to deployable artifact.

    Preferred

    • Experience with efficient inference, quantization, or serving optimization.
    • Experience with multimodal models.
