    Sr. Software Engineer (AI Systems)

    Engineer the software foundation for AI products: APIs, data services, integrations, and secure, scalable deployments.

    Key responsibilities

    • Build and maintain backend services and APIs that power AI-enabled products.
    • Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems (workflows, internal tools, customer-facing apps).
    • Design data flows and interfaces between products, models, and storage systems.
    • Implement robust testing, error handling, and observability across services.
    • Collaborate with ML/DS teammates to productionize research and prototypes.

    Ideal candidate

    • 5+ years building AI- or data-adjacent software systems in production.
    • Strong fundamentals in system design, API design, and software engineering best practices.
    • Experience with TypeScript and/or Python in backend environments.
    • Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment patterns (containers, IaC or managed services).
    • Ability to move between high-level architecture and hands-on implementation.

    Preferred

    • Experience building agentic workflows or integrating LLMs into product experiences.
    • Security-minded development (authn/authz, secrets management, threat modeling).
